Video developed by Efiba Arts as part of its 10 years anniversary celebration,sponsored by Heritage Lottery Fund. It looks at Haringey’s heritage with regards to multiculturalism, education, the Broadwater Farm riots, and police relations especially with young people.The video consists of interviews with community activists such as Sharon Grant,Clasford Stirling MBE,Rev. Francis Ackroyd, Pastor Nims Obunge, Narendra Makanji, and others.!

Efiba Arts presents to the community another edition of Tottenham Green Multicultural Festival' on Saturday 10th October, 2015 at the Tottenham Green Space in front of the Town Hall opposite the Town Hall Approach Road.

This year promises more fun and excitement for the general public. There would be wide variety of foods to choose from, bouncy castles, face paintings, toys and balloons, art and crafts, and other souvenirs to take home. There would be lot of performances to look out for.  We have Rory Jackson, Talentos (with their Colombian dance), Omnida Fusion Dance, BishBashBosh Box Drumming, Smokey 9278 with some Hip Hop flare, ESCA with African Drumming and Dance, Indian Classical Dance and Belly Dancers.

WHAT WE DO

We specialise in providing Cultural Arts workshops in Schools, Libraries, Play/ Youth/Community Centers and various venues. Our workshop presentations include African Drumming and Dance, Story-Telling, Traditional indoor and outdoor games, African Traditional Cloth designing and printing (Adinkra), etc. We run After-School / Holiday Play Clubs for children and young people of all abilities and disabilities. We take engagements for public and private performances of African drumming and dance at various venues.

We run an all-inclusive after-school club for children and young people of all abilities and disabilities aged between 5 and 18 years from Mondays to Friday from 4pm to 6pm at Tottenham Green Enterprise Centre, Town Hall Approach Road London N15 4RX. The After-school club activities include outdoor games on Mondays, Arts/homework/drama and indoor games on Tuesday, Swimming at Tottenham Leisure Centre on Wednesday and African Drumming and dance on Thursdays and Fridays. We also run all-inclusive holiday club during school holidays and half terms for children and young people of all abilities and disabilities at Tottenham Green Enterprise Centre, Town Hall Approach Road London N15 4RX from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

We run workshops on African Drumming and Dance African traditional indoor and outdoor games, African Traditional Cloth designing and printing (Adinkra) Story-Telling Beads Threading & Calabash Designing. Efiba Arts can be very useful in enabling children from schools and youth clubs to learn more about; and experience African cultures. Efiba Arts can boast of a team of professionals with exceptional knowledge about African Culture and the ability to impart it to children and young people of all abilities and disabilities effectively. All our staffs are DBS checked and our terms and conditions are flexible. If given the opportunity, we promise to give your school or organisation an unforgettable experience in African culture. We do Cultural Arts productions in various venues including theatres, in Schools, Play/Youth/Community Centres, Libraries, etc. Our cultural arts programmes include African Drumming, Dance, Drama, and Story-Telling We take engagements for public and private performances at weddings, birthday parties, festival, corporate events and virtually every occasion that cultural entertainment will enhance.

Our mentoring services focus on intervention to offenders in and out of prison and enable offenders to break the cycle of offending using volunteer mentors. Our volunteer mentors offer one-to-one support for adults being released from prison, on licence or on sentences served in the community. Volunteer mentors can help with attending appointments, applying for jobs, finding alternative accommodation, filling in forms and providing some emotional support.

Our peer mentors and volunteers provide positive role models and active support for others just starting out in their road to recovery, helping individuals to consider their options and supporting them to achieve their goals. We work with clients who are involved with the criminal justice system and have issues with offending behaviour as well as substance misuse and many of the contributory factors that can be related.
