Mentoring

Our mentoring services focus on intervention to offenders in and out of prison and enable offenders to break the cycle of offending using volunteer mentors. Our volunteer mentors offer one-to-one support for adults being released from prison, on licence or on sentences served in the community. Volunteer mentors can help with attending appointments, applying for jobs, finding alternative accommodation, filling in forms and providing some emotional support.

Our peer mentors and volunteers provide positive role models and active support for others just starting out in their road to recovery, helping individuals to consider their options and supporting them to achieve their goals. We work with clients who are involved with the criminal justice system and have issues with offending behaviour as well as substance misuse and many of the contributory factors that can be related.
